Boarding School Fundamentals ~ 2 week program

With our Boarding School Fundamentals Program we focus on results oriented training, teaching commands, building duration for those commands and adding in distractions while training.  The training includes: 

1. Clicker conditioning & training

2. Sit

3. Down

4. Place (our boundary stay)

5. Heel

6. Here (come when called)

7. Building Duration

8. Adding Distractions

9. Off (no jumping)

10. Name Recognition

11. Address any specific behavioral concerns

12. Text & Picture updates

Other activities your dog will enjoy while at Boarding School:

1. Field Trips including:  Real Life training with other dogs out on Austin trails and hot spots & structured exercise

2. In home nightly training including: Learning manners & to be calm and settled around a group of dogs indoors 

3. Nightly Slumber Party including: Crate training 

4. Over night supervision

5. Pick up and Drop off included 

6. 1 hour Go home lesson in your home, plus one free 1 hour follow up lesson  

7. Off leash group training while learning proper play in yard

Boarding School Honors ~ 4 week program

Our Honors program includes the same results oriented training as our fundamentals + additional commands and will  focus on higher learning, advanced training with longer duration commands, higher distractions during training and building towards off leash.  Your dog will also enjoy sports training and will have the option to become certified through AKC with the Canine Good Citizen (CGC). With the Honors program your dog will have been in a consistent advanced training environment for twice as long as our Basics program, this will require less follow through work at home for you and an easier behavior transfer for your dog back into the home. The training includes:

1. Basics Training Program

2. Leave it (ignoring objects or distractions)

3. Wait (wait at door)

4. Customized Trick

5. Longer Command duration

6. Higher Training Distractions

7. Building towards next step, off leash

8. Sports Training, structured exercise geared towards dog sports

9. Ready to be certified in CGC (Canine Good Citizen, by AKC)

10. 1 hour Go home lesson in your home, plus four 1 hour follow up lessons

 Higher Education Unleashed! ~ 6 week program

With our Higher Education Unleashed program your dog will receive all of the Fundamentals & Honors training all built toward off leash! With this program your dog will also take with them the potential for other opportunities such as therapy work or even competition in training or sports like agility. With the additional two weeks we will focus transferring all training to off leash and you and your dog can enjoy the freedom to do all of your favorite activities all off leash! Customized Training Plan is guaranteed.

This program includes:

1. Fundamentals Training Program

2. Honors Training Program

3. Advanced Off Leash Training

4. Preparation for advanced learning in therapy work or competition training

5. 1 hour Go home lesson in your home, plus unlimited follow up lessons
